What to Wear: Travel Edition

I am beyond thrilled to announce that I will be traveling to New York City for College Fashion Week with StudentUniverse. StudentUniverse is all about inspiring students and young adults to get out and travel, which is always something I’ve wanted to do. Not only does StudentUniverse offer discounts and special rates for students while traveling because they believe students can learn so much more by traveling and exploring. More than if you were to just study books. They believe that travel is essential to modern education and I can’t agree more. I’m thrilled to have this awesome opportunity to share with y’all the amazing new trends and fashion pieces that will be coming for the next seasons.

Because I’ll be leaving for New York in just 2 weeks, holy cow, I’ll be sharing 3 of my favorite go to airplane and travel outfits. These can adjusted to your own style, fit, or colors that you may already have in your closet! Plus, you’ll be keeping it trendy and cute while still being comfy.

Outfit Number 1: This outfit is perfect if you’re running late, having a bad hair day, or have to catch an early flight. Throw on a cute baseball style cap, plain white tee with leggings. Add on a denim jacket for a little more warmth for a cold airplane. Lastly I love adding cute slip on shoes, they’re comfortable and easy to run around in all day.

Outfit Number 2: This is a great outfit when transitioning between summer and fall. I love band tees, they’re so easy to throw on. If you’re not a fan of them, try just a plain colored tee instead. Of course we will pair it with our favorite pair of comfy leggings in your color of choice. I love throwing on a flannel around my waist, it keeps it out of my hands and is great if it gets a tad chillier. Lastly I think some sneakers like Adidas Allstars or Converse are great, the more broken in the more comfortable!

Outfit Number 3: Think layers when it comes to this outfit. You can always layer on more or less pieces depending on your destination and the weather. I love pairing an over sized cardigan or sweater with a pair of jeggings (that look like real jeans) and a simple tee. Again we go with a comfy pair of Keds to finish off the simple and girly look.

As you can see these outfits are fairly simple, pretty comfy, and you probably have most of the pieces already in your closet! I’ll be living in these outfits the next few weeks as a plan on traveling a bunch! I am jumping with joy at the thought of getting to New York, it’ll be my first time visiting! Plan to see tons of social media posts and blog posts when I return, sharing all of my stories and experiences. All thanks to StudentUniverse. Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram, Twitter, & Youtube, where I’ll be sharing the most!
