Charlotte, NC, also known as Queen City and home to many people and several quaint towns, like Elizabeth and Noda. Today was spent exploring these little areas in hopes of finding a few new restaurants and glorious views of uptown Charlotte.

Having been in both towns a few times, I knew where to park and what areas I wanted to explore. I ended up finding this adorable ice cream shop, Elizabeth Creamery. The store owners greeted us with a smile as we took a few pictures around the shop. I’m a sucker for vintage looking stores and shops, that must be why I couldn’t resist this ice cream store.

My accessories today included my usual Kate Spade watch and Alex and Ani bracelet and diamond stud earrings along with this bright coral scarf from target and a pair of turquoise Ray Ban sunglasses. I left my hair natural for a relaxed look as we walked around town.

IMG_1497Coral, my new favorite color and a also the color of this bright scarf fro Target. Its lightweight material and bright hue make it the perfect accessory piece for summer time. These adorable shorts with pom pom detailing are from Target and I paired them with a simple white shirt from Newbury Kustom. Adding a pair of strappy gold sandals from Target matched perfectly with my gold accessories.

The pattern on these shorts are to die for. Anyone else been loving the pom pom trend as much as me? It’s just so simple and cute. Not to mention these shorts are so incredibly comfy and flowy making it perfect for our afternoon spent walking around town.

After leaving Elizabeth we journeyed over to Noda, a local town filled with great food and hopping bars. I was inspired by this adorable yoga sign we spotted on our way to the delicious restaurant, Cabo Fish Taco.

I was beyond excited to eat at Cabo Fish Taco because I had only heard great things about its food. Seeing as I’m a picky eater I only ordered tacos with grilled chicken and cheese, but boy were those puppies good!

All in all we were able to taste some new food, find a few cute places to hang out, and even got to enjoy the beautiful scenery of uptown Charlotte. Lately I can’t help but be obsessed with tiny towns, maybe it’s the small restaurants with great food? Maybe it’s the beautiful scenery and buildings? Maybe it’s everything!

Does anyone else love little hole in the wall towns? I can’t stay away from them!
